but as yuo say the pro 2s look a bling hub

Right You! Get that keyboard sorted or get outta here!!
I'm no ttoler atin greadingt hatp iss

Gc

sorry i blame the wireless keyboard

Normally Stella or Budweiser that does it to me
Anyway, Im using a Pro II on the front, easy as pie to service/replace bearings & simple as to change from 20mm - qr in no time with minimal fuss.
I know now that the wheels I have, will be coming to the next bike with me! just because of the flexibility of the front hub
Gc

Looks like pro 2 it is then will keep my eye on flea bay

cheers for the reply guys

If you don't have the ProII yet, look out for Bulb fronts (on e-bay and SDH), a lot cheaper, can also be converted from 20mm to qr and bearings are readily available.

I guess you already know that though

I've got Pro2s on my modern bike and they're superb, especially the rear as it clicks so loudly you don't have to shout at people to let them know you're coming!

i must say thats 1 thing i adore about hope's a proper free wheel. My bulbs still sound new even after 12 year's of abuse. Ha. Sign of quality in my opinion

Yeah,
I bought a rear to match my front from mrjolly (a member on here)
He had very kindly serviced the freehub before sending it off to me,
But it was almost silent so I stripped it again and used less grease to get the awsome "CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK" from it
Tarty but so so neccesary

I've 6 bolt Bulbs, 20mm conversion, run 203's and have no probs. Maybe, as you say, it's the spider. SO, 6 bolt Bulb hubs would/could be good for you?

(just thinking of a cheaper alternative to the ProII's, sorry).
