I think thats pretty fair, i paid £60 for them (he didnt know the problems until i told him, just took one for the team on them).
In theory i could put the work into them but i have another set now (which i bought as spares to fix these).

Jeez mate.. You're not doing V well there with those. I reckon you could fix the main threads quite easily.. Even ef you drilled out and went for a low profile bolt through like your CR frame... The Resevoir caps might take a screw the next size up if you can find them in Steel. It may cut a new groove for you. It's a little risky though.
I can get hold of an m5 or m6 tap i think. What size would they be? m5 im guessing.
Ass for the resivoir caps, longer screws have been put into the left hand ones and they bite in to an extent but for the most of the thread you can pull them out by hand.
