do we have a year range for the "bitd" models?

I think the cutoff was around 98/99...

There were also various versions of the axle spacers and flange widths. The rear hubs had a few slight redesigns aswell.

I bought one of the first batch of XC screw-on hubs. They came out in 93. Ti-glide cassette hub came out within the first year.
