Hope hubs

Hi, have just purchased some lush mavic ceramic rims & am now in search of some Hope Hubs. I had some wheels built in approx 98 with Hope hubs that I think are the sport model. They have black spoke flanges, silver chassy in the middle & a splined flange to take the 5 spoke disc spider & screw on retention ring, think the rear has a ti cassette.
Can anyone confirm what model they are please.
Also will newer Hope hubs be compatible with the old C2 calipers that used retaining arms fixed to the v-brake mounts at the rear? You had to use different size bits on the hub to accommodate the brake caliper that fitted onto the wheel axle.
Help anyone?
Thanks
Rachael.

this one? :) if so, this is a 'bulb' it was the big uns little brother, hence the name bulb.

Sounds more like the disc versions of the Ti-Glide rear and Suspension or Fatso front hubs:

Hmm, nice! Mine are a bit different to that, they don't seem to be molded out of one piece, the spoke flanges seem to be pressed onto the middle silver bit.
But that hub is nice, for sale? do you have a rear too? 32 hole?
Thanks for the info.
Rachael. :D

Yep Ti glide with disc splined, that pretty much looks like mine.
Thanks guys.
Anybody got any? Front & rear, 32 hole, silver or black? for sale?
Anybody?

Could be a long search.
Rachael.

I have a pic of a very nice red pair somewhere, me pride and joy 8)

Not sport, at least i dont think so as i ant remember the sport having A a silver centre and B were 6 bolt :? .
Sounds more likely they were suspension or fatso front and Ti-glide rear. The silver middle sections are 6/4 titanium.
C2's will usually work with any disc hub the only issue i see is that the No2 caliper[the bolt on one you have] was a 150 or 155mm on the rear so you may be stuck using a 5 bolt as i cant think of any other fitting that can run that size :? .

This is a similar system to yours, that im using on my current project. It uses the same short axle and braces against the brake pivot as the hope No1 and No2 calipers, but its difference is in that it gives you a 51mmIS mount so you can use any modern brake.

If you have just shelled out for some lush Mavic ceramic rims, why are you shelling out for some lush disc hubs?
