HOPE Hubs on D521s for swap.

Due to an act of complete idiocy on my part I've managed to purchase (at an incredibly good price from Letmetalktomark) a pair of truly excellent wheels that will not fit on my bike (the rotor fitments hit the fork legs), so I'm popping them up for sale or swap. Ideally I'd swap them for something equally nice, though perhaps a little more XC than DH and they would have to be rim brake compatible. If no one fancies swaping them then I'll put them up for sale next week.

The original listing is here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... light=d521

1x Hope Big Un (silver) front hub laced into a Mavic D521 (silver)
1 x Hope Sport (black) rear hub laced into a Mavic D521 (silver)

Both are in very good condition, smooth, true withe the only noticeable defect being slightly lifting decals on the rims.

Both hubs have the ability to run rotors (5 bolt fr, center lock style rr) and v brakes.

They also come with some shimano QRs

As you can see from my feedback I've not actually sold anything on here before, I've bought from KINFAST, Brother and Letmetalktomark though and have 100% positive feeback on eBay under the name of Bigstanno.

Anyhoo, if these float your boat send me a PM.

Cheers,
Tom

Yeah. Just a bit.
I usually stick mine on facebook or somewhere first, (which shrinks it) then type the bit here.

Big is bad. I'm trying to decide what is fluff, what is reflection and what is an actual scratch!

I've resized them so it should be a little clearer. That is just fluff on the rear hub, in reality it's in tip top condition.

Got some xt hubs on 717 rims I'd be prepared to swap you.

They are all silver and v brake only.

Mint condition.

Chris.

Cheers for the link Huntso. I managed to get photobuckets resizing thing to work eventually, though why I didn't just resize in photoshop in the first place I do not know.

I really wish I had a spare £400 to buy those raleigh DHO frames to fit these on to!

Chris, what year are the XT hubs?

Cheers,
Tom
