will the Dia comp ones work with 88 Chorus levers that have the hidden cables?

I think there are these:

the chorus, and C-Record, levers have a much larger body than the Super record so the Dai Compe hoods will not fit.

BTW there seems to be a ;lot of demand for these Dia Compe hoods, I sold out in less than a week. Should have asked for a higher price....
