Home made chain keeper

I've just set up and old Kona as a 1 x 9 and decided to make my own chain keeper - similar to Paul's chainkeeper.

I'm fortunate to have access to a 3D printer so modelled something up in 3D and then tan the parts off on the printer.

They are made from ABS plastic. It has turned out pretty well so far. I wonder abouth the strength of it, if it breaks I'll machine some out of Nylon which would be much stronger.

That's a good outcome and not all that different to the minimalist offerings that are sold by the usual suspects.

Have you had chance to ride the bike since it was fitted?
