Holdsworth Classic TT build

I'm going to start a build thread for this, I'm not really sure how these things go, so, bare with me:

The frame arrived back in January, and has been refinished at some point and is in quite good condition so I will leave it as is, bits for the build have been arriving slowly, I have decided to build it with Super Record just because it's such a rare frameset and back in 1979 SR was considered top , anyway bits have been arriving slowly.

I bought the levers with no hoods and bought some repo world globe hoods as they are correct for the year

I'll take some better pictures of the frame soon and post them here.

Will it be one similar to what Derek Cottington or Dave Holiday rode back in the 70’s - chronometro?

I think it's slightly later than a chronmetro, these were made between 79 and 81 and the most expensive frameset alongside the professional SL then the next was the professional, Midlife aka Shaun will know more about this than me.

The Classic took over from the Chronometro / Cronometro Ultralight as Holdsworth's TT frame. It missed the boat as people were looking at aero and the Classic had a drilled out BB and drilled dropouts...... And it was shockingly expensive!

It appeared in the 1981 Aids catalogue and in the Holdsworth brochures but that was about it... Cracking frames though :)
