Paid for a Goldtech Ti cassette and XTR cable set 2 weeks ago (off his website rather than ebay), since then no acknowledgement of receipt of payment and no shipping notification :roll:

Anyone else have previous dealings with him? Is this par for the course?

I bought my Orbit frameset from Hilary via the LFGSS forum; I think it was about a week and a half between my payment clearing in his account and the frame itself turning up. He did send me an acknowledgement of payment but no shipping notification.
Would've thought a smaller parcel like yours wouldn't be so sluggish in turning up though.

Not sure how many he may have, but I bought a GoldTec cassette off him a couple of weeks ago which is now sat at my feet...

May be worth a call to confirm...?

I find he's sound as a pound but may get a little foggy if his tea levels run dangerously low. Give him a bell and he'll sort it out.

I've bought a few things and he's always been very good, there are a few posts on LFGSS complaining about slow delivery but everyone seems to get their stuff in the end

I think he just sells a lot and gets snowed under from time to time.

Managed to speak to Hilary yesterday and everything was posted last week, if it hasn't arrived by next week then he's giving me a full refund

I returned an item to him for refund and I know he received it on 29 March, but I haven't heard from him since, so he may be out of town. I have bought things from him before and he has been reliable.
