Hi,

First of, sorry this is my first post but was contemplating chucking my bike away but was directed to you guys in case anyone wanted it. I've had it for about 17yrs, got it from a girl I was at school with and its served me well, well it did till the casting on the rear derailleur snapped on Sun, so decided to buy something new, well a bike every 17yrs isnt too bad after all!

So.........

1. Is it worth anything
2. Does anyone want it, whether it is or isnt worth anything?

If the answers are "No" and "No" then will prob just take it down the tip, but thought I'd ask you all first

I'm in Epsom in Surrey

Only took a couple of pics earlier when I took it out of my van and put in into the greenhouse, only took them so I remembered the name of it!!

Kind of feel bad throwing it away as ive had it so long, is that weird, lol!!

Love this bike and what something simialr but modern but everything looks lacking in character these days and wacky for the sake of it, which then looks cheap!

Used to know what I was doing as a kid but thats long gone now.

Dont really have the time either with a fiance, 2 large dogs to keep, a house being built, job hunting (got a job today but not the one I really want)

So just fancy buying something "off the shelf", although will be buying 2nd hand with a budget of about £300 tha'll get me something that was double or more when new, actually got my eye on a £1300 Kona thats 8yrs old for less than £300

Was going for a beer on Sun and rather than driving (I like more than 2 pints ) I cycle the 3 miles to the local working mans club, got there and the rear derailleur snapped on the outer arm. Can get more pics if people are interested.

If anyone thinks it is worth something then really would like a drink (a big one maybe ) that will contribute to a purchase of a new bike.

Will grab a load more pics tomorrow when I go to work, as im working on my house build until I start my new job in Nov
