Just stubbled a crossed this site while looking for something different to ride around on. And have got the bug.
I have the idea of building an old racer with straight bars on cx tyres. For riding about with the kids who have just got the bike bug too.
So firstly bought an ellerker 501 tubing frame cheaply then looking for a parts bike then seen a falcon Shane Sutton special complete apart from the seat. And fell in love with it so bought that too. Been doing some reasearch on it. It is from the 1990-91. But would be grateful of any information any one has on it.
From where I have bought it from there is a falcon l'equipe frame complete apart from wheels if anyone interested £20.00
Will post some pics of the project.
