I know they're rare, and I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but that is such an UGLY paint job.

Always smacked of the emperors new clothes to me. :?

You are not alone.

Plus no forks or the headset bearings??? if he had it from new then it would have come with forks etc. :? :? Well my 93 did :D Oh and not BB

Yeah, it's really "frame only", not a Klein Fuselage.
The seller is the same guy whom I bought my Storm from. He also recently sold a Backfire Adroit and NOS Gator Attitude on eBay. Nice and helpful fellow.

Too bad I have other things to invest right now. This one would be sweet on the wall... 8)

Oh, and contrary to the opinions here, I have always loved Storm and Nightstorm paintjobs.

I like the nightstorm paintjob, just not the girly pink thing he has there....

even the "team" thing doesnt make it appeal to me

To me, the best part of the paintjob, the fork, is missing, so it's rather incomplete. I've gotten a picture from the guy of the dropouts and indeed, there are no wheel clamping marks in the paint but I have my suspicions on this one.

I have no doubts it's a nice frame but not quite sure it's NOS. Do you really remove the fork/bearings and bb/bearings on a NOS frame that has never had wheels clamped in the dropouts? Me thinks not. I suspect this is a respray. I'm not certain, but certain enough that I wouldn't bid on it.

I really would like to put this on livingroom´s wall...it´s like art to me.

I think it´s definetly NOS - frame, maybe somebody got it from factory as replace for broken one?

I'm not doubting the seller's integrity in specific, just a general suspicion that's healthy on ebay. The frame is unlikely to be a factory replacement as they would include these items as part of a warranty. To get a BB and headset replaced is going on 30-40 pounds each in labor. The bearings, are generally replaced when removed, are another 50 pounds for both. So you're talking about 130 pounds in work that would have been needed when it came back from the factory. Unlikely that an owner wouldn't, rightfully, scream to high heaven.

Also, I've had two replacements from the factory and they came back, ready to ride and Klein even took care of the shop labor fees to put parts back on.
