Throw the Campag stuff on as well then the new owner doesn't have to worry about where he puts the scrap
I have my coat and running shoes
Not my cup of tea but stunning though.

Can't argue quality or looks, my god it's pretty. I have a "few" pairs of L/F Record, track and Gran Sport hubs because they are so good. I don't understand how they could make such good quality stuff that (Please don't shoot me) didn't change that well. I would still own the bike though. It is stunning.Yeah, I’ve been bullshitting myself for decades of Campag’s superiority - ‘clunk click every trip’...Beautiful quality though.
Now that I didn't know. Everyday a school dayThe LF hubs are gorgeous. My faves are Gran Sports, the solid flange Tandems and these rare Euclids https://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=d050e6d2-1679-46cd-aeb2-097e4d62fd1f&Enum=110
I guess it’s a case of Italianate passion vs Japanese intelligence in design. The days when Campag’s traditional qualities and ‘mystique’ were valued have been largely displaced by the seduction of relentless technological hyperbole. Hard to argue with but a sad indictment in many ways. Plastic Campag anyone?
To be fair Record OR and Icarus worked better than the earlier stuff, especially brakes, thumbies and maybe front mech’s.
…The secret to good shifting is to use it with a Shimano cassette! (+ JTek shiftmate)
This is why I love chatting on here. @Woz @grantoury @KermitGKona88 see above. If you guys already knew this apologies.A ‘floating’ top jockey wheel can help and you might even get away without the Shiftmate (on a Shimano cassette)
