Help with Sun frame Identification

Hello Folks,
I've just picked up an old Sun road bike that the previous owner had repainted, removing all of the original transfers so I have no idea what the model is.

The bike was built in the Carlton factory in Worksop and has the wrap over style seat stays similar to the Carltons that were being built in the 1960s. I think it could either be a Sun Snipe Plus or possibly a Sun Mass Start - the serial number is Y6920.

Would anyone be able to help me identify what it is?

Yet another Raleigh/Carlton/Sun/BSA of the 700,000 mass produced.
They were quite good in their class (schoolboy teenager), this looks like one of the later products.
Beware you have 26 threads per inch head and bottom bracket.

Similar to my Snipe. Well worth restoring to a lovely honest to goodness machine. Look forward to seeing more images.
