Help with my Gios Lite Evolution.

Hello,
As I am new to the forum hope you can advise me
about selling my Gios Lite Evolution bike.
Colour is yellow to orange blend.

Please can you help me with the following.

I have owned the bike from new since the mid 1990's.

I have decided to sell it.

How much is it worth? it is in very good condition.

There is a number 52 stamped underneath the bottom of the frame.

When was it made? was the colour scheme special?

Was it a limited edition as I have never seen another one.

I have tried to upload some pictures but they are too large
and I don't know how to resize.
I have also been able to send the pictures via e mail
to Gios I am hoping they will reply.
I can send via e mail to any one who can help me.

Firstly, welcome to the forum - I hope you will find everything you need here and become a contributor to the forum.

I would suggest asking one of the moderators to move your post to the "Retro Classic Road" section or "Reader's Road Bikes" section. This section is for bikes that are currently for sale and that have a price but it sounds like although you want to sell you don't know all the details yet. In these two sections people will be much more willing to help you as the only responses you'll get here are from grumpy folk you've upset because you've posted in the wrong section. From experience "how much is this worth?" posts do not go down well.

You might also want to try a search for "sold" items on ebay through the advanced search, as often this will be a good indication of price. My usual rule of thumb if I price something this way is to subtract 20% If I am then going to sell on the forum as this takes account of eBay fees and gives members of the forum something. At the end of the day, you will get the same money in your hand, someone will here will benefit and as well as knowing it'll go to a good home you'll also have much less hassle.
