Help with Campag Mtb

Does anyone know whether I can use Shimano shifters with this or even x-rays gripshft?? Campy is really hard to find their shifters!!

also what chinrings are compatible???

As a stop gap, stick some Shimano thumbies on friction mode and wait for the gear to turn up on ebay ( usually in the states ). They DO turn up occasionally and being beautiful they ARE worth the wait. Hope this helps.

Recently two sets of black shifters have been listed (twice) on ebay.it

Both times, they didn't sell for 2 euros!!

spookily i think the modern road triple chainsets are the same bcd as the mtb stuff- think its 74 and 100 mm bcd which is different to shimano
spa cycles at harrogate in the uk are a touring bike shop and do all sorts of weird and wonderfull chainrings,also check out highpath engineering they do a gizmo to convert shimano shifter to campag rear mech and vice versa
bullet shifters come up regular so do six and severn speed but the 8 speed shifter is as rare as england having a good footy match
