Help with a klein

nope, technically trek bought them out a while before, and yours has the 1 1/8 headset and threaded bottom bracket.
should be a 1998?
great bikes, before the moved mfg to trek and its still the same old klein gradient aluminium (no zr9000) and still has the internal cable routing etc.

just got one not too long ago myself in koi.
p.s. i find these most desirable because it has the nice gary klein aluminium, paint qualities, and whatnot without the annoying parts (my quantum pro has the integrated headset, and its been a paaaain)
but this has all the good stuff without the cost cutting trek implamented later
that frame is 80mm suspension corrected (my attitude race came with a manitou sx-r)

The way to find out the age is the serial number.
I checked mine and mine is september 96.

Ok i have a Klein Attitude from 94 with serial nr: 20t0694313 that means it is a medium 20" made in june 94 number 313 that month. earlyer models have other numbers that are much simpler such as: AD03c which indicates its just an Adroit or ATT00168 which indicates its an Attitude. these early numbers are mostly from 1990 to 93.
