Help to identify bike please DENTON

Recently purchased a bike with denton cycles decals, also reynolds531 respray sticker.
It has cable guides above bottom bracket, bb has 1378 stamped on drive side and 2 at other side. It also has 73 stamped on head tube lug.
Components which look origional stronglight chainset and shimano ultra glide 500 front mech also weinmann centre pull brakes.
Rear dropouts are 120mm, campag record hubs, rear 125mm.
From what I have read denton bought in framers from other manufacturers, although as it has been refinished may not have been a denton originally.
Can anyone help?

Back in the 70's (my era) Mercian built for Denton Have you any pics of the frame?

Hi midlife,
Took it to Jim's bedlington who remembers old denton very well.
He agreed straight away a mercian, I can pay them a tenner for frame details but not sure if this of any practical value.

I use Irfanview to change the size of pictures, free and works flawlessly
