Help removing a seized downtube shifter

I've got a Campy triomphe Downtube shifter (rear) which doesn't want to come off. The d ring bolt feels seized and when putting some pressure on with an adjustable spanner wrench its pushing the d ring to a point I fear it might break. Anybody have experience with getting this off?

Lots of Plus-Gas and leave it overnight for starters.
