Help! Rear brake problems on my 91 clockwork

Hi guys,

Trying to fit some lo-pro xt cantis to my clockwork, problem is the cable pinch bolt on the back of the canti catches on the top cable stop on the seat stay.

Anyone else had similar problem?

Only solution I can see is going for a set of maguras??

i have dx lo-pro canti's on mine and they are very close to the cable stop but it just clears. maybe look for a smaller bolt head for the cable clamp?

might be just a case of fettle it a bit more? maybe slide the brake pad in the holder a little bit more so it puts the clamp bolt in a more out of the way different position?

Will have a rummage and see if I can find a flatish bottle cage bolt?? That might do the trick??

i'm sure i remember someone else having the same issue with low profile cantis on a clockwork.

can't help you myself as the cantis on my clockwork aren't low profiles.
