Hi there,

Totally new to this so please bear with me. I've recently come into possession of a older road bike by way of a relative clearing out his old things before returning to Swaziland and he gifted me a bike rack and said bike, saying "trade it in or sell it for one more practical". I'm not a cyclist at all really but want to get a simple hybrid or mountain bike so I can join my partner and son now that we have a rack. I digress...

Onto the bike! All I know at this stage is that the model is a Francesco Moser. I'm told the year is 1995. Coloured red.

I'm hoping to put some pics on here tonight with more component details/specs.

Reason I ask is that I sent a few emails to different bike shops around the North East and one came back and said "DON'T TRADE IT INTO EVANS CYCLES! IT'S A COLLECTABLE!". He then kindly pointed me here to ask about value and possible sale.

As Richard said, some photo's would be good. But any Moser is going to be worth a few quid. I sold an earlier one than yours, in red, in good condition for £450 last year.
