Seller don't have paypal and wants a bank transfer...
I need a German friend here who can take a paypal from me and then do a transfer to his bank for me...

Just want to check, but have you asked the seller if they take Paypal?

I've just asked a German ebay seller what payment options he accepted as the auction wasn't showing Paypal as an option. He replied that he takes Paypal but for foreign buyers only.

If you've asked (and it is a no for Paypal) and you're at the stage of paying and can't find any help from a German RB member I think you're gonna have to swallow paying a bank transfer fee - my bank has just advised it is around £15.

The other option if it is only a small amount is perhaps you can send cash by registered to their address - I've done this and it all worked out OK.

not uncommon for German seller, that they dont accept PayPal. On the other hand banktransfer via IBAN & BIC is free of charge in some European countries, but heard very expensive for UK bank account holders.

in short: as I would pay no fees for a bank transfer from Austria to Germany and I have a PayPal account I can offer you my help.
