help needed : 1989 muddy fox sorcerer pro

Hi, Im restoring a 1989 muddy fox sorcerer pro (the one with the fillet welds) and cant remember what the tube set is. I think it was either prestige or infinity?
Any advice would be great thanks.

The Socerer Pro is Prestige and fillet brazed

Catalogue doesn't say prestige so i'd imagine it's Infinity as there was also a fillet brazed prestige with Suntour parts at the top of the range. Nice find though.

The Sorcerer was Infinity tubing mig welded so I assumed Sorcerer pro was fillet brazed Prestige?

There was a limited edition at the top of the 1989 range (scan here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=210472&start=0) that had a Prestige frame, unfortunately we don't have the '89 catalogue spec page anywhere on this forum so can't be sure but after reading the descriptions MF used I am pretty sure that they would have said it was prestige if it was.

Have you done a build thread with pics yet? Be interested to see it. '89 bikes ride really nicely (Baz77 has a minty regular Sorcerer that I have had a spin on), much better than the 1990 ones.

I always thought 89 was the golden year for muddy fox. I will attempt a build thread at some point. i have a NOS deore ii groupset to go on when i get round to it.

I have an old MF brochure. I saw it earlier in the week but now it is mis-located. I don't suppose anyone knows what was on the cover of the year in question's brochure?
