Help identifying this Legnano bike?

Hi everyone,

First post here as I’ve just driven back from Italy where I was given this bike by my girlfriends family.

It belonged to her dad who apparently had it restored in 2012 before he died. They are clearing out the garage and wanted to free up space.

They said it was a 1950’s Roma original frame And all the rest has been added to match as closely as possible.

But after searching, the only serial number I can find Is a ‘55’ on the bottom bracket and now I’m not so sure.

It’s lovely anyway but I’d Just like to know more about it if I can.
