Help identifying frame?

Retro Newbie
Hi all, i have come across a bike which i believe to be '96/'97 judging by the forks (rockshox indy xc) and drivetrain (shimano deore xt/fc-m739) i just can't figure out where the frame comes from.

I've got clear photos of the frame numbers attached, has anybody got any ideas?

and judging by the stem logo, (rsp) it might be a raleigh? looks similar to the 1997 rsp titanium, however the seatstays are different.

From the lettering on the bottom bracket A420-P, I would say this is an A-pro frame from Taiwan, unfortunately they made frames for several companies so positive identification may be very difficult.

geometry is probably similar but ti frames are usually thinner tubing similar to steel Titanium also has that easily recognized colour. Aluminum is always polished and oversized

yeah that makes sense. after some googling i believe it to be a slightly later (1997/8?) raleigh m-trax. I don't think its the 350 because some of the cable routing is different. Once i identify it i then have to try and find one of these wierd chainrings...

I had a similar looking frame, it was a Merlin malt 1. I bought it direct from Merlin, apparently made by kinesis with triple butted alu (depended on the batch, not sure all were). Not sure if that helps, but the parts on the frame are a mixed bag, stem is RSP obviously but could be bought separately or added to build up from spares stash?
