1993 Zokes by the looks of things...

ah thanks people. next question as they're free, working, of the right period and in good nick...would you personaly use them?

Zokes are a Marzocchi brand name, and came after the Star Fork and was around at the same time as the spindly looking XC600 forks and their ilk.

They of course pre-date the 1996 Bomber Z1, which is widely regarded as one of the first forks which actually worked well.

I'm not entirely sure where the fork you have sits in terms of the Marzocchi range. It kind of looks like an evolutionary mid-point between the XC forks and the Bomber.
I think the 'Zokes' brand was streamed off, even perhaps sold off, at a later date. Some of these later forks have a touch of low end about them.

But back to yours; I assume it's a coil sprung and oil damped fork. If this is the case, and bearing in mind Marzocchi's long history in producing motorcycle forks, then there is no reason to believe they won't perform reasonably well.

They might weigh a fair bit though, I'm not sure. I'd certainly fit them and try them out though.
