Help ID this Orange Orange?

1998 in 'Team Orange' - might have a 1997 frame number

It looks the same as my c16 on mine the paints pretty thick on the bb i cant make out mine need to chip off just not done it yet but mines getting stripped and mines an f8 but my forks are the squared shoulder ones

The OP's frame looks to have diamond shaped bottle bosses - a clear tell for a P7. I know the forks on yours are Series 8 but the frame is likely Series 7.2 or 7.5

I dont know mate but the sticker on frame says 8 i cant read sticker on forks i didnt know p7 have diamonds on bottle cage i have to have a look at mine cheers

No sorry rmw 1962 i stand corrected your right mate it is a 7.2 frame and 8 forks i read it wrong cheers
