HELP, i need somebody... Kona-Collection in West Midlands

Hello!

I've seen my dream bike on ebay, which I'm looking for a long time (also here in the forum). It's a white Kona cinder cone from 1989.

The "only" problem is, I've to convince the seller, to ship to austria. He lives in the West Midlands (around Birmingham?) and I've writtem him, to make an exception for me...

If he's not willing to ship and only accepts local collection, I've a great appeal:

Is there anybody near Birmingham and would collect the bike for me and ship it to austria?

Of course I'd pay with paypal for the postage (with parcels2go ?) and his work for packaging and driving to the seller and the post office. I know, that this is pretty much asking for, but I haven't given up my dream already and maybe there is a very helpful guy here at the forum.

If he/she would need a silver 27.2 ringle post for his efforts, I'd give it for free...

Also it's not an '89 but a '90. !989 had Shimano Mountain LX with u-brake, both those sellers CC's are 1990 as they are Suntour XCD with cantis.

I actually prefer the 1990

Hi Charlie I bought the Trek off you a while back, if He wins it you can ask him for the ringle bar as I've no need for it.

i have been in contact with stoppi on this..he "wants" this bike and even on his word "sell his grandmother" was mentioned{dont think she knows } , but i am glad he is being sorted.. stoppi "charlieboy" is a top bloke

ahhh i remeber you Ben, is that trek being put to good use, you was the man who earned gazzillions of pounds an hour for laying hi tech posh flooring at the olympics and other places and had far too many expensive hobbies,lol

I am in need of a silver 27.2 as it happen, and if its a ringle too, happy days

the wife is softening towards letting me drive her also, so not completely buggered with transport

and ahhh cheers Ernie, the erzulie now has its lovely bombers, the a-c was the same as the rigid forks that were on so no worries there either, will post some pics up later, she looks a lot meaner wit hthe forks which match perfectly, ooh she got a bit of blue bling now also
