Help for the British Eagel BOSS bike/yellow edition.

Retro Newbie
Hello,
Im new to this site. Ive decided to get back on my old mountain bike.
I bought it back in 1992 and recently found the original receipt. I paid a whopping £630. That was a lot back then. The most expensive in the shop at the time and boasted the alloy tubes/Deore crank and gears.
click shift, wheels that where angled/rims. It was a really nice and light bike. Anyways. didn't use it much and it went up in the loft. Fast forward 28 years. I got it down, Surprise, tyres were flat. very faded on the yellow paint, some minor rust. The tyres still have the new look on them and still have the new strands on the side as did not get much use.
I plan to get this all working now.
A few questions. Should I replace the tyres? they look and feel sound.
Were can I get new replacement decals? Do I have to get custom made?
I could carefully peel them off and send them to whoever can make them.
I plan the get the frame blasted and repainted in yellow again. I would like to try and keep the bike original as much as I can.
Its a sentimental thing.
Also, whats the history of the BOSS bikes in general. I have not seen any around.
I will post some photos soon.
thanks for info.
Much appreciated.

Gil on here is your man for decals. He'll do them from yours or may have them already. Top bloke.

Tyres can be ok but I'd let them down, take them off and give them a god bend and check for cracks and thin/flaky sidewalls etc.

Re:

Where did you buy it from?
Bike shop, littlewoods.?

They're a spin off from Claud Butler under the British Eagle brand., there are not many good pictures or scans from the time.
This is the best we had, but you'll see the problem

stick British Eagle Boss into Google and you'll find some more stuff.

Get some pictures up, if you use an Android phone, then Phot and Picture Resized is good, keep reducing the picture dimensions down till the image is under 256kB (on my phone it between 20 to 30% image size) and you can attach them.
