Help dating a Raleigh roadster please.

SG, I have an unused one from about 1975 lurking in the small remains of my stuff. I'll have a look tomorrow, it would do for now.

Early type dynohub could be worth more than the bike? possibly in the US.

It was a Sturmey Archer GH12 Mark II model (1936-193, just listed it on ebay out of curiosity!
I've put a spare stainless steel raleigh rimmed wheel (from a long dead mid 1950's roadster) in the front of the bike and I've almost finished cleaning and degreasing it. Got the paint for it's "blitz black" treatment too.

M, I think a 12 volt made about £50 recently, sold to the US.

This one is 12 volt, 0.23 amp, 2.7 watt also. Listed it for 7 days, starting at 10pm 'ish this eve, so fingers crossed! Cheers for the tip.

The bike should look ok when it's done to, we'll see!?

M, this is a real museum piece, I can remember seeing one only when I was selling and repairing Raleigh etc. in the 1950's.
We should soon see if it's collectable.
