Help- campag outer with Shimano/Clark’s inner + lever compat

Clarkes do a special Campag one. DO NOT USE Campag gear levers with Shimano-compatible cables. Campag takes thinner cables and most importantly the nipples are larger and will jam in the levers.

Thanks
I’ll do that
But can I use a campag outer with a Shimano inner cable ? This is for the Sachs shifters and mechs

Ok thanks for the help -
So campy brake cables and outers - For my Euclid brake levers (I assume new ones from Amazon will work)
And will have To be the Shimano/Sram gear cables and outers for my shifters and gears

Re:

Both Campagnolo and Shimano use 1.2mm inners for gear inner.

The nipple sizes are different, for sure - Campagnolo have always used a smaller nipple than Shimano but a quick skim through Campagnolo and Shimano documentation as published by the companies, reveals no difference in the gear inner wire diameters.

Generally, though - Campag with Campag, Shimano with Shimano, SRAM with SRAM.
Always metal ferrules (where required) with Campag, not plastic.
