New guy here been enjoying lurking on the forum for a couple of days and thought it was about time I said hello.
Also after some advice on what to do with my 1997 Stumpjumper M2. Decided to retire it as the forks are shot and it needs a couple of bob spent on it to make it a decent trail hack again, so a new bike has just arrived. (2010 Kona Blink in case you're asking.)
What to do with the old girl though? I bought it new in '97 and it has more value to me for sentimental reasons than I could get if I sold it, so do I hide it in the loft, turn it into a single/fixie, or try to persuade my wife it would be a nice piece of art on the wall?
I already have a flat barred road bike so no point putting it in road trim.
What d'ya reckon?
Cheers.

Single speed is the way forward for winter riding. I will be building mine up next week. Can't wait to get out on it. Rigid, canti and one bipoace gear in Marin frame.
