HED Carbon DH rim without brake track

Hello all. I have a set of 26 inch carbon fairing downhill wheels from the late 90's early 2000s that i have had in my shed for years. I was told from the original owner that they are HEDs and the carbon weave looks identical. The only difference is they are a disc brake only rim, no track for the rim brake pads. Did HED make a disc only version of the DH rim? I can't find any photos or articles anywhere. Cheers for your help.

Yes they did, they were used by both Pace Racing and Yeti back in the day. Oh, and the Grip Magazine/Heavy Tools team under Jerry Dyer. (Thought Jerry was still at Dirt but think he started Grip when the team were on Heavy Tools bikes).

They must have been become available not before End of nineties.
