Not in threadless. ISO is by far the most common on quality bikes, and JIS exists, but was always rare outside of Japanese and Taiwanese OEM.Missed the threadless point... I'm thinking longer back, and mostly roadster/race bikes.
I remember being able to order 3 different crown races for Stronglight as spares, round mid-90s which enabled us to fixed a couple of strange repairs on french and dutch bikes because of it.
But I guess they were old stock - as there were no rubber seals as used on most of the "current" models at the time.
