Head for heights?

I have , as it happens, as I'm a firefighter and part of a rope rescue team.....but if this bloke got into trouble, even I would shart in my pants!!

We regularly practice on tower cranes and other high bits and pieces, but I would pull a sicky on this day......

I thought I had a good head for heights, but I got the odd feeling of vertigo, watching that.

Couldn't get over the 30lb toolbag, swinging, that sometimes pulls them off-balance, and often he was climbing without being tethered...

Wonder what life assurance premiums are like for them?

Wouldn't parachutes be worthwhile at that height?

Once you are over hundred feet the death fall is academic, but I would be a lot more cautious than that seemed!

To be fair, about 30 will do it!!

ive been nearly as high and i could see norwich castle over 25 miles away...got paid 90 pence more per hour for danger money..one lad fell to his death at 35 feet crossing one of the spans at the bottem...another got his legs crushed in the crane lift by scaffolding(his fault he shouldnt have been in the same carrier)...90 pence more an hour didnt help the sensation of the pit of ya tum dropping when planes are flying below you..
