I suffered from hay fever for years, ruined a lot of riding and summers for me. I even had to resit my GCSE exams because my eyes wouldn't stop running.

Try all sorts of meds etc. When changing to a vegan diet, and cutting out all dairy, I noticed one summer I didn't have hay fever.

Dairy and gluten (and sometimes wheat) can trigger hay fever. Dairy is pretty much mucas in your body. Read about it on google, you'll find loads of people who have cured it in the same way.

Edit: Note my message isn't meant to come across as preachy, only cutting out dairy will give you great results. No need to give up meat etc. I ate fish a few years ago while cutting out dairy and still had no hay fever symptoms.

Just started for me too, while away in NY. Grr! Come back here and its streaming now. booo!!

Always find its not a problem at all when riding, think the adrenaline supresses the histamine for some reason. But 10mins after I stop riding, seems it all catches up and I really pay for it! Head just explodes, sandpaper eyes, nose streams.

As said above though, I count myself lucky too, many are much worse off.

Only tablets that work for me and not send me to sleep at desk are Benadryl (not one a day). Combine with drops and spray and usually not too bad, but still comes on. Oh, alcohol doesn't help either. bummer.
