Hawk mtb

I will do thanks! I sometimes ride High Hunsley (between Ferriby & Cave) and the BW loop to the south of Skidby -so keep an eye out for a slow flying, Hawk.

It is the Trakatak, triple triangle jobby, sounds like its the best of a poor bunch - it'll make a fun change from my modern bikes. :)

Hawk were also an American company
Maybe I'm wrong with Germany.... I think we're talking about the same brand
logotype on top tube looks like this

If yes scans of 97-99 catalogues in my first post here
BTW Polish national XC racing team using those aluminium frames (model tangens Team) in late 90

Hmm nope I don't think they are the same brand. The brand I'm thinking of were a small high-end frame only manufacturer that originated in BMX. I don't think their MTB frame took off, in fact outside of one MBA test review I've never seen one (but it stuck in my mind - would love to find one).

chrisv40 - Cheers for the offer but I just had a look at the info and dates, looks good but i'm working that weekend.
I get over the NYM a fair bit, that area around the Ana Cross / Rosedale Abbey is one of my favourite places to ride, will post when I'm next planning to head out if you or any others fancy it. I try to get a day each week, often its a weekday though due to my shifts.
