Go for the Swift I reckon - if it's half as nice as my Hummingbird it'll be excellent.
Gratuitous Singular photo from my ride yesterday![]()
Yes, it was Grant Taylor, do you know him? Great guy, he stopped to help someone who had broken their ankle on one of his laps! He was riding his beautiful titanium Hummingbird.
Well, it's a long story..... (and a small world).
Grant was selling his steel Hummingbird frame on the STW classifieds (having just got his Ti version) and I ended up buying it from him.
But, as he was packing it up to send to me he accidentally dropped it on his toolbox and dented the top tube  .
However, gentleman and a scholar that he is, he arranged for Sam at Singular to send me a shop-soiled frame instead. But, when that arrived it turned out to be a large and not a medium, but Sam (also being a gentleman and scholar) sent me another frame (medium this time) which was brand spanking new.
I don't really know what I did to deserve such good Karma but that's how it was anyway. Because of its association with two very good guys, I probably enjoy riding it all the more - it seems like it was meant to be. It also happens to be probably the nicest and most fun bike that I have ever owned - it's certainly revived my riding mojo anyway.
If you see Grant or Sam please pass on my kindest regards to them.
Andy.
