Steady on, discs are retro and so are forks with more than 60mm of travel. If we are going to start playing little hitlers with bike selection we should be saying any bike younger than year 2000 (given as an example).
I think we should just ignore these w&nkers, after all we were riding these bikes whilst they were still using stabilisers!

nah, mleh will always outbike STW. I believe we have had far more podium places than STW in 2008, and got more peoples backs up ;-)

unlike stw we have a happy place with no arse holes we dont slate other peoples work we look on with that "wow i remember those how cool is that" look we are retro bike we stand rpoud above the rest as we are grown ups with just a hint of giggle we never look down on anyone and thats why i like it here and i dont post on stw for fear of getting slated at my chainring size or tyre combo choice im retro and proud
Some good people on STW too although I much prefer it here.
Perhaps they need reminding that without our bikes they would be nowhere and they wouldn't be able to get so excited about a heavy steel or cheapo Ti bike made in China
For all their technology seems most threads on there are complaints about the latest greatest going wrong especially forks and BB's
My old UN72 is still turning nicely and my Bombers go up and down better than ever.
One other thing if it wasn't for STW they might all come on here
