Hi,
I thought that this was an early cattleprod but I’m not so sure... can anyone confirm? And give me an idea of year value please? It’s a 130mm 0 rise.

it looks like a later version of the Road Altura(spelling) Syncros stem.
take it out, what does it say on the bit that goes in the frame?

I think you’re right. On the side it just has ‘max height’ then 26.0 x 130mm. Looking at it though, it is a mid 90s Altura.

Wishful thinking!! But I still got a bargain on the bike I think so all is not lost.

yep, still has the power nipple, I assume the zircal bolt etc.
and 26.0 show it for road size bars, rather than the 25.4 MTB ones.

still good stems.

1995/6 are the later ones.

Any idea what I stick it up for sale for? Less than a Cattleprod, more than a Velocity??

No idea, it is better built for MTB then many MTB stems at the time.

I don't know if the bar diameter matters on them.

I don't know their worth in the road section.

put it up for what you paid for it.
