Has anyone had fork springs custom wound? - Marzocchi Z

So I'm drawing a big blank in sourcing any x-heavy 65/70mm springs (part# 5141109, or I think 5141110 would work) for my Z2, and am beginning to wonder if going down a custom route would suit better.

Does anyone know how/what/where/what info the fabricators would need?
I can probably gather the spring length (150mm), diameter (tbc) and what I think is the spring rate (in this case 8.4).

Would it be a case of finding a suitable local machinist and having then turn a couple, or am I looking for a proper spring specialist somewhere?

Anyone had a pair made up for themselves?

I've emailed a couple of specialists so will see what they come back with. I have no idea if they'll be looking for £££'s or a couple of bob, I wont hold my breath though!

For anyone else that may be interested, it appears that I have a couple of positive leads for having these springs made to spec. I'm still in the process of firing info back and forth but its looking like I can get a pair made for anything between £40 and £80 - including custom progressive rate. (several companies are quoting £120 as a minimum order value but I think they are larger operations).
Hopefully i'll be able to keep it closer to £40, and will feed back if they turn out well. From the info I've been offered so far it seem that the specialists really are.. specialists. Who'dve thunk?
