has anyone ever made a set of brake lever hoods?

I have bikes with good lever hoods, which I guess we could make a mold off, no problem with putting a bit of time in either, just a bit of expert guidance as I am a complete novice at moulding.......

Thanks for all the ideas! I found a set of white hoods, but have yet to see if they are compatible with my mavic levers. The original black hoods on the levers are perfectly fine, it's just that I'm completely undecided on whether to go all white with the saddle, tape and hoods, or black saddle and hoods with white tape! Sometimes it's the silly things that take longest to figure out!
