HANGING bike storage solution

How about the cheap plastic coated hooks available from Halfords, B&Q etc? If you remove the pedals and turn the bars you could get quite a few bikes into a small space.

Ive looked at those hangers pictured above, but they make me nervous that the weight pulling on the single spot on the rim/a spoke wouldnt it egg the wheel slightly over time?

Yes, I wouldn't ever rest the spoke against them, as for making the wheels egg shaped, can't see it unless the bike is extremely heavy and the wheels have been built by me.

No, if the wheel can stand your weight on it, there will be no problem. It's aluminium not plasticene!

The total weight hanging off the rim is only 10kg or so.
