Had my shed broken into last night!

Went out to my car this morning & straight away spotted that my shed door had been taken off its hinges.

filled with dread as my Orange Crush, all my bike parts & all my tools are in the shed.

gingerly walked over expecting nothing to be there and "luckily" the thieving toe-rags have only taken boxed powertools... leaving about £1500 of bike & parts where they lay.

I had my bike double locked to a metal bed frame so that was my saving grace i presume.

well, not strictly true as my bike light is missing from my handlebars so they must have used it to find all my tools..

suffice to say I was very lucky & now everything of value is living in the house.


gutted about the tools but happy about the stuff they left.

I would look at keeping said bike indoors for a while?

Yeah bike is locked up in my house for now, along with anything else valuable.

At least the tools are replaceable. Good move to lock the bike indoors!
