Had a little off today - ouch!

Took a corner on the road a bit fast and bike washed out from under me. Got a nasty graze on my left elbow, knee and hip, think I may have bruised some ribs as well. Scratched my watch, tore a hole in the sleeve of my waterproof jacket and slightly melted the sleeve of the fleece I was wearing underneath.

The young couple in the car behind were nice though, stopped and asked if I was OK, unlike the last time it happened, when the idiot behind just honked his horn for me to get out of the way. Did he think I was laying in the road for fun FFS. :roll:

Note to self: don't try to get a knee down on damp roads.

For some odd reason with me the pain comes 2 days later. I think ive got away with it then another day on i awake to wish i'd slipped into a coma during the night

The bike was absolutely fine, the handle bars were at a jaunty angle, but I cunningly took most of the impact.

Left shoulder feels a bit sore today, but I think I'll pull through.
