Guess what fell onto my doorstep this morning?

Old School Grand Master
A 1950s/60s Lenton.
I bought this ages ago (when I was still buying stuff), and the seller dragged his heels a bit (he's been ill, so that's OK), but it arrived this morning.
Dropout's bent, though. :?
Is this something I could straighten myself? I'm not going to run gears, so I don't have to worry about the mech twisting the chain out of alignment. I would get it reset by a shop with the proper tool if it was bent and I was using a derralieur, but if nothing attached to the dropout is attached to the chain, is that so important?

adjustable spanner on the bent bit and bend it back straight. cant go around on bent gear now can we....

Sorted the dropouts. I have to be honest, I didn't realise it was designed for 27 x 1 1/4" wheels. Not even sure it's a Lenton now. Bummer.

Still, it's got a certain rustic charm. I like the wraparound seatstay, very 1960s.
I think this will become a fixed gear.
