Could be an Avalanche, Pantera, Backwoods or Tempest
GT triple triangle. what do I have?

I suppose it doesn't really matter in the big scheme of things. Bitchin' frame (at least in my mind), gonna build it up and ride it.

Progressing nicely. Mounted new 1.75 tires, Put some Fly Racing 5.5" BMX cruiser bars, installed the 90s GT 'piston' stem, and swapped the junk wheels for a slightly less junk set. Since this set has the cassette already on, I'm gonna stick a derailer on for the time being.

You play with the top of the line quality Zaskar/LE. Everyone knows what it is and what it looks like....you play with a mass bike model that the masses road and yes it will be tougher to tell.
Avalanche did have shorter rear stays than the others.
What's the serial number?

My long distance urban assault bike. What I always imagined a 'hybrid' should be. Cruises very tight, steady and determined. MUCH lighter than my other bikes; I'm guessing around 24-25#. The geometry is perfect for the short BMX guy that I am. I had my lbs do the derailer (thanks Bike Farm) as I wanted it done correctly, and I know nothing about gears. I think the piston stem looks pretty boss, and I'm pretty happy with the way it all turned out. Up next will be a simple seatpost clamp, and maybe some Victor style beartrap pedals.
