its fair to say that when removing the paint and frame was split didnt impress me at all then when more appeared i was annoyed spoke to a mate who does welding and would cost 100$ and thats way more then i paid for it

Ok so I’ve had the frame in the shed since I stared this thread and decided to give it a go and build it the original parts I had like Manitou forks and race line hydraulics are gone and I’m going to try and build as close to oem spec I so far have purchased shimano stx canti brakes & brake & fear lever shifter combi, black kalloy post I had some silver GT bars in the shed Which I’ll use and will get hold of a GT stem and all other parts .The frame will get a full respray but can’t afford anyone to do it so I’ll do myself nothing I’ve not done plenty of times before . Watch this space
