GT STS/LTS bearing sets needed!!!

bearing kit

well i got my bag of bits today! and nothing fit except the trunion mounting chips! an expensive lesson. kit contains

4 nylon washers 32mm o.d 18.5 i.d nearly 2mm thick
2 nylon washers 24mm o.d 14mm i.d about 1mm thick
2 trunion chips
4 roller bearings 25mm o.d 20mm i.d 9mm wide and 2 at 14mm wide
2 roller bearings 18.5mm o.d 14mm i.d 14mm wide
4 washers to suit small roller bearings

these measurments are approx with a ruler. i will get a vernier later and get proper measurements.

Sounds like the same kit as me then!!

having just had a look at BETD gear again, it looks like some of the roller bearings will work with their bolts and spacers. doubt they will sell without the bearings but should be handy as spares for them.

There must be some place somewhere a manual or listing of all the LTS range through the years with the exact bushing and bearing sizes for each one? :?

good luck in that search. what is your frame then? i am saving up now to pay BETD £135 for a complete kit. yuk!

1997 dh & 1997 -3

To be honest the dh is alright at the moment but the 3 is shot to bits, Think I am going to go for the standard replacements from bens cycle in usa. No disrepect to the 3 but BETD will be worth more than the bikes going to be worth :?
