Yes, saddle right up and longer stem.
I still prefer that to this day but add a slightly more upright, shorter riding position to aid back comfort

Hopefully someone will have one. A frame only would be a good option to give me a project build over the summer.

At 5.10 you’d need a 18 inch one

Most of them are cracked and overpriced.

I already sold it after discovering the crack.

I’m still kinda after a STS 1 which is close to OE spec.

But I would never pay the insane prices asked for them when likely they are cracked too. I’ll wait got a local bargain to come at £200 ish

Hi everyone, I’m after a 1997 GT STS 1 or 2 bike or frame in either the 18 or 19 inch preferably (I’m 5ft 10).

I have an STS DH frame (size small) sat in the garage.. Great condition, no cracks. Been meaning to restore it to its former glory for years now, just haven’t found the time.. let me know if you’re interested and I’ll clean it up and send some pics.

I know of an 18” STS-1 frame complete with shock in good order coming from the US shortly to Kent, UK for £450.
